i have downloaded large mp3s of dj sets, but the problem is that they are too long too fit onto a single cd and my writer software won't allow me to burn a wav which doesn't all fit on to one cd. does anyone know of a way to split an mp3 or wav file in to smaller portions which i can stick on to seperate cds? tanx

There are a lot of mp3-editors that allow you to cut'n'paste, divide and re-edit any audio-file.. I suggest you search this forum for some links to such programs.
Basically ANY audio-editing software can handle wav-files and chopping them into several smaller files will not be a problem.
