Topic: if i have two sound cards...

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

if i have two sound cards, can i use headphones to cue or whatever and have my regular computer speakers play normally?


if this topic has been posted already , i apologize...i am too lazy diggin it up :P

Yes you can. Just put the sound configuration to two soundcards, and the headphone and speaker option. Next conncet your speakers to your first, or primary soundcard, and connect your headpphones to your second soundcard. In atomixmp3, click the A or B to choose which deck you want to listen to on the headphones. Everything playing in the first or second deck that is selected by the crossfader will play over your speakers. You can also do this with one soundcard, if it's 3d. Just connect the speakers to the front output, and the headphones to the rear output. Then in atomixmp3, select 3d soundcard in the sound configuration, and select the speaker and headphones icon. Do the same thing as the dual soundcard setup to listen on headphones.
