Topic: Which SOftwear Should I use for splitting the wav into tracks?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

i want to separate my big wav into tracks with no pause between the tracks.
i got some dirty sound when i am using atomix with external mixer.I have the paid version.in my headphones the sound is good but when i mix the songs then its going worse and worse is my mixer the problem?

It depends on the recording software you use. I.e. the SB recorder can cause ugly skippings.

Try to use other recording stuff first. A good alternative, but in german language, is waverec on www.waverec.de.

To split the tracks, use the track editor of your burning software. A good alternative is www.feurio.com.

And also while recording do not forget to monitor the volume of the signal you're recording.

If the mixing table's output signal is too strong, you'll end up with a scrambled sound.
