Hmm, can you describe it more detailled??
I think you mean the message to use the soft mode to record. You have two modes in the sound config. The soft mode is to let AtomixMP3 make the complete encoding, crossfader... In this mode you can record your mix with the recording function.
The hard mode is for usage with a mixer. So AtomixMP3 only plays the songs on different channels and you do the mixing on your external mixer. To record then, you´ll need a cable to plug the record out of your mixer to the line in of your soundcard and record the line in with another software.
