When I analyze a group of files .... and try to hit the stop button ... nothing happens .... and the program continues to analyze the files until it is complete.

I also noticed this, I think that if you are going to analyze a file make sure you have lots of time left on the track playing. I recommend doing an extend file search on your whole hard drive before a gig.

When we're already on the subject, I'd like to promote another idea I posted earlier...
You can't see how long a track is unless you load it in of of the desks so there should be a Duration/Time-field in the file/playlists (as well as a Bitrate-field to have a decent idea of what quality your MP3's are)
