Topic: Skinning - ?Making a counter into an actual stop-watch?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I know how to add a counter to a skin and I know that if you set resetcounter="true" for that text-element it resets the counter any time you click that field while the counter is activated.... but what good is a counter that just goes on until you click it and then resets to zero?

I was wondering if there is any logical workaround to have it just STOP when you click a active/ticking timer and then reset it by let's say a second click.
Maybe using right-clicks might be an option as well?
Double-clicking to stop isn't that intuitive or practical(due to latency in 2nd click) and should be left as is(restarts the timer at the second click)

Or maybe there's a way to reset the timer by clicking another text-element? (sounds too complicated though as this would require a way to reference each text-element as an object)

..just a thougt.. :)
