Topic: What about adding even MORE accuracy in matching BPMs

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

For example... we all know atomix goes to one decimal point... what if it went to 2? (example BPM 140.13) it could make for even longer mixes. Sometimes the beats get a tad bit off. Dont know if its possible or not, but it would be cool :)

what I do to manually check that the BPM is correct is check the track in question against a 130 BPM sample track of a single beat that I made using Acid....

play your tune at it's original speed, and adjust the 130 BPM tune to match it. Then enter this figure in the tracks BPM manually and you have a more accurate reading...

btw, this works great with breakbeat tunes, which atomix has trouble with normally

hope this helps?
