Recording with External mixer not possible?
how come?

I have tried it before ... I ran seperate channels from each soundcard into the inputs of my mixer and ran the master out of my mixer into the line-in jack of my computer, and used Total-Recorder (compliments to Ikke) to record.

However, when set-up like that .. it greatly decreased the sound quality. So everytime I record ... i just use Atomix's internal recorder ... CD-Quality right there !!

No buy you see atomix wont let me push the record button...
it says you cant with hardware mix enabled... but you can disable that... so i was just wondering if you can record with atomix while using an external mixer...
doesnt seem to work for me

yes, it's possible! I use sonetic x ripper (you can use another software like nero wave editor or other). put the cable out from your mixer in "line-in" of your soundcards' computer. check-out "line in" from windows' mixer under options "play control".
