Hi folks, help a dumbass ooot!

Have been told about a "y-splitter", but not much....can anyone tell me the craic??

A y splitter is a connection to your 1/8 inch headphone jack on your pc to 2 seperate full mono channels. Select the 1 sound card and mixer option in the control panel. You should now notice that the left player plays through the left channel and the right player through the right channel. Also you could select headphones and speaker option. This will allow you to monitor a channel while the other plays.

If you have a 3D sound card, all you need to do is place your headphones in the rear channel, or line out channel, and you will be able to monitor one channel as the other plays, in stereo mode. Atomix supports 3D cards, so it's a good option too.

Yes but if your using a 3d soundcard - make sure your using the WDM driver for it...
