I am finally buying a mixer, dedicated for use with atomix! It is just a simple cheap Radio Shack mixer but it will get the job done.

My plan is to use Atomix much as though it were simply two 1200's, and do everything through the mixer.

I am wondering, if I do this I lose the recording functionality, right? So should I use the line out back into the system to record the mix with another sound recording program (soundforge), or will there be some other way for me to handle this?

The line in is what I do to record a mix, using my recorder that came with my soundcard. I don't think this is being adressed in the next atomix... You can always record with a second machine also..

there is normaly a way out from the mixer : booth or/and rec
just connect that out put from the table to the line in on the sound card. Press REC.

I just ought my second mixer for atomix, Its A Omnitronic BX-524...
It has BPM counters eq's and gain on all (3) chanels, it has gain control, booth, balance and master control as well as Record out..
This is a perfect mixer, and i recommend it to NE1 and EVERY1..
