Topic: 1 sound card limit in demo is a bad idea.

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

First off, let me just say I'm not a cracker and I already have a full version of this program - I just think that limiting the demo to only 1 sound card is a bad marketing strategy. This is the main, basic function that accomplishes pretty much the only purpose of the program, to mix, and it's missing in the demo. I think this discourages DJ's from trying the program. I mean, why have a demo if the demo doesn't do the most important thing people will want to try? It's like selling a graphics animation program but the demo version of it doesn't animate the objects. I think the nag sound is good enough - The nags force anyone who wants to use this program seriously to make cd's or to do gigs to buy it yet they can still experience all the functions (at least the main one!).

I agree. The purpose of a demo is to show off all the functions to show people the program is good enough for them to buy.
