I was able to finally solve the stuttering (one second brief pause then the music plays again) of Virtual DJ whenever I use my DDJ-SX2 after months of intermittent investigation.
I managed to solve it so far by using the WASAPI for the Audio Settings, instead of the ASIO ones. That was what worked so far. And, it was an accidental discovery.
My laptop is an HP ProBook 445 G9 with AMD Ryzen 5, 16GB RAM, and 1TB of storage - running Windows 11 with the latest Virtual DJ. It did not have any problems with my old DDJ-SB while using the ASIO Drivers.
I am happy to have found a solution and hope it helps people who may have the same issue.
