What's the difference between VDJ LE and the other paid versions? I saw some links on the website but they are dead links or go to the pricing page that says nothing about the LE features (or limitations).
I'm considering putting a controller that comes with LE and there seems to be no explicit and definitive Info on it to understand it's limitations VS the other paid versions.
Would love some detail on this!

Hi, I've seen this page but it does not answer my question - there is no description of what a "LE" or "Limited Edition" license is and where it sits between these other licenses. Shouldn't there be another column??

I can't remember all the details but LE is very limited, other than the specific hardware support in some aspects it's more limited than Free. Consider it the minimum to be able to use the hardware, but the 'nice to haves' are missing.
No recording, no broadcasting, limited browser information shown.
The most valuable aspect is, I think it offers some discount to upgrade to home.
but it's been a while so my memory is fuzzy, and to be honest any controller carrying LE is going to be pretty old now, I'm surprise you can find them as new units.

It allows you to use all features of the controller, so it's not less than free.

I was hopeful of a more explicit definition or a link to a comprehensive doc. Maybe I've been asking the wrong question.
Here goes: Does the LE license that comes with a new dj controller allow me to use the controller + vdj "LE" for DJing, eg. on Youtube, without an audio overlay in the recordings or in the output while I'm playing??
Or
does it inflict some other sort of limitation that would disrupt me from using it like this?
Also, does the LE software prevent MIDI mapping customization of the controller to the VDJ software?
It would be amazing if this just were defined on an official page somewhere. Also, I've seen quite a number of brand new controllers sold with this license so I'm not sure about some of the feedback above.

I was looking at The Next Beat by Tiësto SX1. Can you comment on those details? I rly dont want to buy it just to find the software is useless with an audio overlay and limitation that are unknown to me at this point of time

No, the LE edition will not have audio drops.

What about the browser limitation you are speaking of? What happens there?
