Now you can import all Rekordbox hot cues and loops at once, but there's no way of doing that for selected tracks.
I believe this would be an interesting feature.
Actually if I add 50 new tracks to my Rekordbox library and by mistake I open VDJ before I create every Hotcue and loop on Rekordbox, there's no way of syncing those data just for those 50 tracks even if on Rekordbox are perfectly done afterwards.
And i have to re create Hotcues and loops manually on VDJ.
Thanks for considering it.

Thanks and I use it..but as now VDJ already has this functionality for the whole library, it would make sense to have the possibility to select only the tracks we want to sync.
Also because if I make any changes to the cues and loops on VDJ and I sync all the library again, I lose them.

Ooooh ok, Now i understand what you mean.
You want 2 way, either software to update when seeing your tracks.

Just selective syncing... right click on the tracks and sync with Rekordbox.
If someone has a workaround which is not Lexicon (partial sync is not free)...
Thanks!

If you close VirtualDJ, remove those songs from your search DB and database.xml (manually), do the prep in Rekordbox then reimport into VirtualDJ via the Rekordbox integration, do the changes show up then?

Thanks!
Bear in mind prep has already been made in Rekordbox (I just opened VDJ by mistake before completing the prep in Rekordbox).
With your workaround, I lose all the changes I made on VDJ,,(I added some loops, I had to do some hot cues from scratch because of those milliseconds VDJ loses sometimes)as VDJ sync everything for every track from Rekordbox.

@vinyl maybe your workaround works if I dont sync from RekordBox... Usually when I add new tracks in RekordBox and I open VDJ it automatically sync with new added tracks and info... do you think VDJ will do that if I delete those from search db only? Then close and open VDJ again? 🙄

Yep that's what I'm saying...VirtualDJ is probably importing those files into its database when you expand the tree for Rekordbox, but not not checking for modifications in the track data after initial import. If you delete the tracks from VirtualDJ's database, it might be roughly returning VirtualDJ to a state of seeing those tracks for the first time, and it would reimport, considering the new updates.

Cool...how can i do that manually?
I'm not so expert 🙄🙏🏾
VDJ sync automatically everytime the application is opened, you don't have to click on Rekordbox folder...

That's the unfortunate part. To delete the songs from the actual database without actually removing them, AFAIK you'll have to delete their entries in the database.xml on the drive with VirtualDJ closed closed (always make a backup of database.xml before doing this!).

I don't understand 🙄😅
That's why I'm asking for a very small but very useful feature ✌🏾

It's pretty straightforward. All VirtualDJ's metadata associated with tracks (POIs, etc), are stored in an entry for it in the database.xml on the drive - just open that file and delete the entries (backup the file first).
This is not meant to replace your request, it's meant to be a workaround until they get to it.

Wow thanks! Will let you know...

I opened the database.xml file with Notepad and I found out that song are not sorted so it would take me more than re create every hotcue / loop on those tracks...thanks anyway!

Could probably get ChatGPT to write a script to do it, but yes, it's quite involved to get done quickly/in an automated fashion.
