I noticed that there is a misalignment across mapping the VST plugin's parameter and the UI.
I installed the DJMFilter effect (https://xferrecords.com/freeware). The first parameter knob controls the first parameter of the plugin.
When the effect is loaded to any FX panel slot, than changing the value on the FX panel is synced to the VST's UI. So far all good.
The problem comes in when the effect is loaded into the sound color effect slot:
Now the color effect knob value range is shifted 0.25 in clockwise. Meaning to be in resting state (no audible effect), I need to turn it into 0.75 position. So the default position 0.5 in the UI applies 0.25 filtering.
This behavior is the same with VST3 or VST2 version of the plugin.

Is this an issue with this particular plugin or VirtualDJ sound color FX?
