Hi all. New here and looking for some much needed advice. I stream my sets live on tik tok and have just been using a laptop and no controller and it's more of a radio show and no mixing as such.
I've just bought the Hercules mk2 300. I think I've almost managed to work.out to make the sound work except for one thing. It took me four hours ro get as far set up as I did lol.
I have sound coming into the head phones from the headphone jack on the controller and also coming out of the laptop where i can hear effects, crossfading from.the controller etc and which I can turn right down if needed via the master in virtual dj.
The issue I am still having is I cannot get sound from.a speaker as well. This is not my image and excuse my lack of technical terms but I've plugged the red and white cables into the back of the controller and also into a speaker but still no sound from the speaker which means I'm having to listen to everything in my headphones at present if I go live on tik tok.
In the first image is how I did my speakers and in other image is the settings I currently have that means I can hear in my headphones and also through the laptop I just need to know what to change to get sounds coming out of the speaker.
If anyone can help it will save me from another sleepless night lol

If you've set the master to play through your laptop, then you need to connect your speakers to the laptop, not your controller.
If you want sound to play through your controller to the speakers then you need to set the master in VDJ to the controller - not the laptop.

Sorry as I am a newbie could you write out the setting if possible?
Also how can I ensure the sound also comes through on tik tok live studio?

I've mentioned two choices. One doesn't involve changing any settings, and the other is VirtualDJ's native embedded setting for the controller.
I can't help with TikTok software.

A couple of useful things ..
- Even though the device is not requiring the Hercules ASIO driver to be installed, as per the manual, it is recommended though....
So once it's installed, prefer to use the ASIO driver instead of the WASAPI.
- You can have more than 1 "Master" outputs in your VirtualDJ Setup.
Some devices require tha audio signal to be sent in both Master & Headphones so that they can operate their hardware/firmware things.
Your VirtualDJ Audio setup could be ..
Master - Hercules ASIO - chans 1,2
Headphones - Hercules ASIO - chans 3,4
Master - Some Other sound card (computer's built in etc) - Chans 1,2
Microphone - The Card the Microphone is connected - Chans 1,2
With the above the Master Output is sent to both the speakers connected to the Master Out of the device PLUS the speakers connected to the computer's builtin sound card.
You can then choose which audio signal you wish to use to a 3rd party app
I havent clearly understood where your Microphone is connected to, but if it i connected as per the audio setup above, then both the "Master" outputs of VirtualDJ will carry the signal coming from the input above.

This answer is perfect. Thank you so much and gave me what I need.

Thanks so much this is exactly what I needed! I also use a USB and that gets picked up with no issues.
