I normally update to new MBP's every 5-6 years - choosing the highest level in every stat.
I am looking at the M4 Pro and the M4Max. How much-unified memory would be optimal? Does the Nano-texture display make a big difference?

TL;DR = A M1 with 16 GB or RAM is enough to do realtime stems and video playback. A M4 with similar/more amount of RAM would be more than enough (Pro or Max even better).
