I have downloaded Virtual dj 2024 but I cannot find a button to operate my external microphone so that I can either speak over the end / beginning of the tracks or between the tracks.
I use the recording facility which enables me to record the music but not he voice operation.

Not without more information. All we know so far is it's a mic.
What's the make and model of the mic? What type of connector does it use? How are you connecting it to the computer? Are you using Mac or PC?
