Hi all,
I've been updating track/tag info, things like inserting correct release year for era/decade specific gigs I've had lately.
Upon refreshing tags for some tracks, they are being cleared out as "Track Number Track Title" and Artist etc being left as blank. Weird thing is, VDJ is able to pick up the correct tag info when individual track info is viewed in the Tag Editor.
It's also overwriting old (incorrect) tag info when analysing.
Video below will probably make a lot more sense.

Could you share one of the files after you've cleaned and rewritten the tags in your other program?
Regarding the second problem, if you have setTagsAuto set, and something changes, then VDJ will indeed save the tag with what's in the vdj database.

Thanks, I wasn't able to reproduce the issue though, batch->reload tags kept the tags the same.
I'm wondering if for some reason it was not able to open the file, which is why it read the filename instead, but not sure why that would be, especially since the tag editor shows the tag correctly.
2 things that you could try:
-Try batch->reload tags with setTagsAuto turned off
-Make sure the other application is closed before using batch->reload tags
