I organized my songs by genre, and within that genre folder I have a few sub folders with dedicated songs therein.
So, when I search I only have the option to search the current folder or the whole drive:
What settings to I need to choose to have search results only return results from the current folder and its sub folders, but nothing else?

You cannot search like that.
However, you can recurse the parent folder, and then search the resulting list.
