I work with 2 laptops, one modern and the other one is about 8 years old and I use it as a backup.
I recently bought a Pioneer Flx4 and have noticed that the sound is different when connected to one or the other laptop.
It should be noted that the sound comes from the controller to the speakers.
When I connect the controller to the old laptop, the sound is perfect, but when I connect it to the new one, the sound quality is very bad.
The same thing happens when I connect a Vestax VCI-100 Mk II controller, with the old laptop the sound is perfect, and the sound with the new laptop is very bad.
Any idea what could be the difference in sound quality?
