Fairly new to DJing, trying to record my first mix using VirtualDJ. However, when I am done with the mix and end the recording (20 min length), and then try to listen to my mix in finder (Mac user), the mix doesn't play, instead the audio file is all static. It's also weird because when I load the mix onto virtualdj, virtualdj automatically puts cue points on the points of the mix when I load different songs How can I fix this?

I guess you set master output to PC speakers perhaps?
And perhaps kept the record entry in sound settings to FLX4
