Any obvious differences between the two systems ?
Have you checked that you use the correct audio setup on both systems ?
MC6000 (the first generation) was a hybrid and could be used both as software and as hardware mixer.
Most likely, your 2 systems use different audio setup. One uses hardware, and the other uses software mixer mode.
While it is possible to switch mixer mode in the unit itself, I guess that what you want and need to do is to "copy" the correct audio settings from the laptop that works, to the one that doesn't.

in the german Forum is an similar Problem. The right Pitch works only from 0 to 0.5 and the volumefader from deck 3 (left volume Fader) moves the pitch over 50%.

@Dennyo, this must be some hardware fault. the 2 faders should report different CC Midi from 0.0 to 1.0 (0x00 to 0x7F) and should not affect each other (at least with the default Mapping).
He can check the reported Midi CC values with some Midi Monitor application (like MIDIOX on Windows or Snoize Midi Monitor on Mac)

The mark 2 versions are famous for board failure. The original ones were fine.
