Hello,
I would like to assign some effects to some unused buttons. However, I can't find a way to just "activate" the effect. The only way I find is to load (and activate) the effect in a specific slot, e.g. effect_active 1 'flanger' - but that messes up my existing setup. In other words, I want to use extra effects without messing up my existing effect slots. Is there a way to do this?

effect_activate 'fxname'
The only thing you need to keep in mind, is that if the "fxname" effect is loaded on a slot it will activate on that slot. It doesn't affect anything function wise
