they have a robot effect in VDJ but it's not the same as Vocoder. VDJ used to have this effect and was curious to where it has gone?

unlike the current vdj robot plug in, vocoder applied the robot effect to the vocals rather than to the beats. the current vdj robot plugin applies the effect to the beats rather than to the vocals.

Are you referring to CFX Robot?
If you want it applied only to vocals, use stem separation.
