Topic: Stanton SCS.1 LCD
Hello,
I'm new here and need some help.

After a long break I unpacked my scs.1 system. I used it with Traktor at the time, but due to the loss of 32bit support in osx, it doesn't work anymore.
At the moment I'm using vdj as a demo to see if it all fits.
Now to my question:
Is it possible to address the lcd's in such a way that the effect name is displayed and when I rotate an encoder the lcd "jumps" and shows the value of the effect slider and then jumps back again?
So like this:
Effect name e.g. Flanger
Rotate encoder 1 effect parameter
And again show flanger.

Is this possible?

Here is the VDJ hardware manual:
https://virtualdj.com/manuals/hardware/stanton/scs1m/setup.html

and has Note: Device is not supported in Build 6243 or later

and is stated:
Quote :
FX ENC. Use this encoder to select an Effect for each deck. The LCD below will display the name of the selected Effect.
Push the encoder to enable/disable the selected effect. If the effect is activated, use the encoder to adjust the 1st parameter of the Effect. The LCD below will display the short name of this parameter and its value if used.

Thanks, I knew that of course.
I'll try to describe it in a more understandable way.

Hold a button, rotate the encoder to select FX
Release the button, rotate the encoder changes param of the selected FX
The display shows the FX name by default and when I rotate the encoder it shows the param and goes back to FX name.
How can I script this? Is this possible?
