Hi, I created a custom button in the 4 banks section. Button 1 is a stem+fx (code is :padfx "echo out" 80% 1bt "stemfx:vocal"). The button works for each side of the decks from the skin. So left deck works on the left deck and right, right.
I then created a keyboard shortcut doing the same thing, but it only works on the "select" deck. Is there anyway to leverage the code logic that VDJ uses for say song preview, that figures out what deck is playing and previews songs in your ear phones. In VDJ I see some code for the video called auto but no code for the audio section that seems to fit.
Ideally the keyboard button would apply the stem_fx to the deck based on fader location or playing?

You can try deck master, deck default or deck active to see if any of them suits your needs.
deck master padfx "echo out" 80% 1bt "stemfx:vocal"
