I was trying to keep my library consistent with karaoke file having a .zip extension. Most of the them are a zip file with a .mp3 and corresponding .cdg... I do have some .mp4 karaoke files and was hoping to zip them so they would have a .zip extension but this does not work when trying to load the file into VDJ while this is not really a problem I was wondering if there are any plans or work around for zipped mp4 files.

Zip files are used primarily for two reasons: group files together in an archive, and to compress files to a smaller size.
In the case of MP3 and CDG the zip file keeps them together.
MP4 files are compressed audio and video together in one file so they don’t meet either of the zip usages. There would be no need to support this. That’s my guess, in any case.
