Topic: How/where do I find the vdJ folder on a Mac?
Hey guys, I am trying to add my bud's Samples and VST fx;s to the new VDJ and Monterey install on his 2017 iMac Air. I searched and searched both google and youtube on how to find the location of the vdi folder to like add the VST's to the Sound Effects folder but nothing works.

I can see the Library folder's contents but there isn't a Virtual DJ folder in there or in the usual Documents folder, help please?

Thanks!

I copied the VST files from the windows pc into the Sound Effect folder on the Mac then restarted VDJ but the fx's are not showing in the drop down list. can it be that I may need Mac-specific vst's for the Mac?

yeah, macs don't use vsts or maybe they do but they're rare, and they very unlikely to be portable.

They will work, but you need to download the mac version, which would come packaged in a .bundle file, not a .dll
