I'm having trouble setting my crossfader correctly. I have a Rane Four coming from a Numark Platinum NS4FX. The NS4FX was perfect. it was a perfect slope - by the time you go to like 1/4 away from the active platter, it was real low. The Four seems to just drop at the end hard no matter what setting. I tried FULL, SMOOTH, CUT etc. hardly any difference. I tried the linear, quadratic, log one - the linear helped but only a little. Also there's a soft/hard knob on the controller but doesn't do much either. Need help. Want it super rounded and smooth. I don't do scratching or anything so I could care less about the super sloping settings.

It's a Hardware mixer, the crossfader curve is the dial on the front side of the unit.

Makes sense, but it's lame as hell. Turning it all the way down barely helps but I guess it is as good as it gets.
