The issue with the Sync as originally posted should have been fixed already in current release. At least with the factory default Mapping.

bro. you need to install rekordbox. setup the controller from RB. the sync part too.
in vdj, have sync set to always.
you dont need to use rb, for updates and to apply certain certain you do-.
