So I'm having the problem with external hard drive delay or freezing looked up and did all the changes on my computer and on the software I turned off the power saver mode on everything my computer is big enough it meets everything I need to run virtual dj . Need help what else can I do or do I buy a new computer

You could run a program specifically made to prevent harddrives from going to sleep, and see if that makes a difference compared to changing power options

A quick Google search gave me this one, but I'm sure there are plenty of them (and you should of course only download from a source you trust)

I'd suggest using a SSD rather than a mechanical hard drive. That will be much faster and require less power (shouldn't need to sleep).

I am using a ssd external hard drive and I'll try that app
