I have enable/disabled touchscreen and show/hide keyboard in settings... everything works fine using keyboard and mouse, but that defeats the object of a touchscreen setup.
Any help, however obvious, gratefully accepted.. I'm probably doing something silly

I have created a custom button to switch the on-screen keyboard on/off, but it will not work for the text input window..

Selecting any "custom button" text input field works fine here as well. The keyboard opens as expected

Finally sussed it was a windows keyboard thing... doesn't like to work on a secondary monitor. All sorted out now :-)
