Topic: Scrolling Text On Deck

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I am trying to get text that is very long to scroll automatically when loading. As of now if I click on the text on the deck, it starts scrolling. I have been through the options and did not find a setting to do this. So, I am thinking maybe there is an oninit script to accomplish this. Does anyone know how this can be done?

use the ONSONGLOAD event as found in the keyboard mapping.
 
I see the onsongload, what would be the action? I tried text_scroll; that did not work...
