Topic: VDJ not recognizing mp3

hi there; i downloaded an mp3 and when i play it from my hard drive it works fine. but when in vdj and i view the track, then right click to analyze for bpm,etc it doesn't work. just says there is 0 seconds of audio, so for some reason vdj isn't recognizing it. any ideas?

Where did you download it from?
Is your VirtualDJ updated?
 
yes it is updated. i got the track from a friend so it's possible that it might have some kind of issue (virus?), which VDJ blocks if it looks suspicious. thank you for the note
