Is there a way to recover this manually? Or do I have to use my backup to reinstall my previous OS and then use the Create Database Backup function and then re-install Big Sur? Seems like there should be an easier way...

What kind of Playlists ? m3u created with VDJ, iTunes playlists, History, some other ?
If VDJ Playlists, check if the files still exist in /Documents/VirtualDJ/Playlists ?

I'm talking about my VirtualDJ playlists, as well as play history, and my folder structures that I created within Virtual DJ.
The folder located at documents/VirtualDJ/playlists is empty. I'm guessing that if I install the OS from a backup everything will be there, but now I'm not sure, since ... why would the files get erased from the documents folder? That doesn't make sense, as all other documents and folders transferred successfully.
Any ideas?
