Hello!
I have been using an older laptop with windows 10 to run virtual dj and the pioneer ddj sb3 controller. works perfectly! I just recently purchased a new laptop(msi) to run the same combination but simply can't get virtual dj to connect with the controller. The notification I get when i open virtual dj is "soundcard not available." I am currently on the dj pro subscription(thinking that was the issue) I've also updated firmware on the controller and turned on automatic updates for virtual dj as well as updates for windows 10. and I also have both version 8 and 2021 of virtual dj. both softwares are giving me the same response. Any help is much appreciated!

On the MSI laptop connect DDJ-SB3. Then open Windows sound settings and make sure that Windows ARE NOT using the SB3 soundcard as their default playback and/or recording device.
If they do, simply select your laptop's built in sound interface instead.
Close Windows sound settings, open VirtualDJ and try again.
