Usually when I download music I put the music into virtual Dj. Now while searching my computer cannot find any of my music. It’s as if all the music I have on virtual Dj is no longer on my computer and that’s an issue.

There is no music in VDJ. It just points towards music on the hard drive(s)
So before you even open VDJ, try to figure out if you still have music on your hard drive
If you have somehow lost that, then VDJ won't have access to it either

Visit the folder you downloaded to, and VirtualDJ automatically adds it to search database.
With maos you might also have to give VirtualDJ permissions.
Quickest way would just be granting full disk access
