This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Bonjour,

merci d'avance

Seems like you tried quite a few things already.
You can also try useLowPowerGPU to "high power" since you have a dedicated video card

Also, there been quite a few posts around the internet with freeze/skip issues with Dell computers.
Usually the fix is to remove / shut down Dell background processes such as "game optimizer", "update checkers" etc.. Can see quite a few threads about that here: https://www.google.com/search?q=dell+micro+freezes Maybe something there helps, worth a look at least

Hi RUNE,
Thank you very much for your answer and sorry in advance for my english.
I tried to set UseLowPowerGPU to High Power and unfortunately it didn't fix the problem.
Concerning DELL background tasks, all of them were already off.
I also try to reset VDJ database (I made a backup of course) as well as a new install without success.

Still looking for ideas. Maybe video file format could be optimized for VDJ ?

Since you experience same on 3 computers, are the files all from same source?
And if they are, where from and can upload an example file so can be tested ?

Hi,
I finally found the solution ! It was not due to my videos (mp4 encoded with shotcut using H.264 and AAC) or to my computer configuration but to the automix dualdeck option. I Set "automixdualdeck" to "no" and now everythink works correctly. Usually I prefere the "automixdualdeck" set to "yes" because I can look at the next song and check beatmatching during mix. From now, I will avoid this option during automated shows since it cause random video freezing.
I hope my experience will help some users
Many thanks for considering my post and for the advices.
