Not entirely sure what you meant by that..
But check auto match bpm and auto pitch lock at the small cog icon next to the regular cue button

I might roll back VDJ see if I get the issue then.

The distortion is usually an indicator of the audio buffer on the driver running dry..
Set the buffer higher..
At Windows you usually do this at the driver utility from the brand (asio settings).
For mac, you can do this in VirtualDJ settings, under "latency"
Try 256 or 512.. . those works for most computers

Yes I am on 512, earlier in year had distortion issues but that has not come back until now, tonight was more the track slowing down speeding up, no beatlock on and set as you said originally, will have a play report back

Try 1024
and if needing that high a number, worth using the latency checker tool to check what prevents real time audio https://www.resplendence.com/latencymon
The "slow down" might be related, but little hard to tell from the clip

Does anything on here look wrong?
Posted Wed 21 Apr 21 @ 8:55 pm
nothing wrong there..
But if your computer is slow, and stems causing issues, you can turn off stems..
Set mathengine to disabled in settings if so
Alternatively (and better) set precomputeStems to "only use precomputed".
That way you can create stems prior to gigs/mixing at right-click in browser, and even if not using you will still have the 3-band waveform etc
