Hi, I'm currently saving for the new Macbook pro that was just released today. According to apple it might take some time for any 3rd party apps to get optimized for this new M1 chip they are installing in their new lineup of products. I was just curious if anyone at Virtual DJ was working on this? And if so, did we have an estimate on how long that would be? Since this would be primarily for DJing, I'm very curious about the subject. Also wondering if the app will work at all before it becomes "optimized" for the chip?

but M1 chip is ARM and intel apps are in emulation mode
would need a second couple of VDJ versions native ARM for Microsoft Surface and Macbook / Mac mini
with no eGPUs it seems difficult to handle multi video fx and stems at least for now
additionally controllers would need new specific drivers too
