Topic: Recording loops with stem settings applied at time of recording? Is this possible?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I have been trying to figure out how to record a loop while I am spinning with the stems settings applied, but the recorded sample is always the sound without the stem settings that were applied at the time of recording. By this I mean, the recorded sample sounds like the tune with no stems applied.

Is there a way to do this? While I am spinning?

Thanks

I've not tested myself but are you [source capture] recording loops [inside a loop] or are you [real] record start, record stop?
there's a difference
I've argued a few things around this, I've worked around some too, but everything I've scripted for live loop capture & repeat doesn't cover everything or get it right.

I just tried recording the loop with the stems on, the voice on, and the other buttons.
the stems have been recorded (loop, voice etc.)
no problem

i just tried the video mp4 i have no problem
everything works fine in mp3 and mp4 video

Ah yes it does work well. Not sure why it seemed it was not working before. Operator Error, most likely.

Thanks all!
