I'm having a hard time with the "record wait for sound". I have the box checked - on the last version of VDJ everything worked great, the recording wouldn't start until sound played. With the newest version, I hit record and it begins to record silence before I hit play on my first deck (even with wait to record checked). Any ideas?

This is probably happening because you use a "record" (loopback) input in your Audio Setup.
In this case VDJ either picks up a small audio signal, or cant really tell if a track is playing or not, since it's just recording whatever the record input is providing.

It really depends on your audio configuration.
But as the message suggests, the problem is that there's no sound on the input you have chosen to record from.
So, check your recording settings and your audio configuration.
