Topic: Akai LPD8 no longer working with VirtualDJ 2021

The LPD8 worked perfect in VDJ 8 with a custom mapping.

When I launch VDJ20212, the controller is recognised but the mapping is not loaded. No worries, I entered the mapping manually, again, but the controller is not picked up by VirtualDJ. At one point I got an error message when starting VDJ saying something that the interface is not midi compatible (It is, of course).

How can I get this interface to work again under VDJ2021? Every time I go back to VDJ8, it works without problems. But it just refuses to load under VDJ 2021.

Make sure everything on the LDP8 is set to default - use the LPD8 Editor to set it.
 
Thanks for the info. I managed to get it working again.

In the LPD8 editor, the configuration shown is the default configuration. Just write that preset to a program you want to use and then load that program when entering VDJ2021.

You have to do the mapping all over again.

Also note the sliders need to be renumbered. They are 0-7 in the Akai default mapping but 1-8 in the VJD2021 mapping.

It's fixed and I'm happy!
