Topic: Looping

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Seen a video where a person is looping a beat and then jumping to anther part of the track using a hot cue the song continues to play without looping. But when I tries moving from a looping to another part of the track using another hot cue its still looping there too. Am I missing a setting, or the person just disengaged the auto loop?

It's as setting:
loopAutoMove
If you set that to "No" a hotcue jump will kill the loop as well

not always, loop move off and a hot cue jump will only kill the loop if you exceed the loop, if you jump to earlier the loop will remain in position.

But wenn I make CUE - Loop , than it not works.
I click Cue - Loop 1 , than Loop active on Cue 1 , but when I click at Cue - Loop 2 , than Loop is off , and no Loop at Cue - Loop 2.
Why the Loop on Cue 2 not active than?

Ahh solved ;-)
I have found the Error ...
In My Pad Page the Cammand for Push Aktion was ( Hot Cue 1 & Cue Loop 1 ) ,
not I have corrected to only (Cue Loop 1 ) and 2 , 3 ect.
Than it works , and the Loop also aktive when I push the Cue Loop 2 Pad ;-)

thanks

Hmm... That's not what I see...
If I
- disable loopAutoMove in the settings
- set cue point 1 at the start of the track and another in the middle of the track
- trigger cue 1 to start the track
- start a for instance 4 beat loop
- within for instance 1 beat after starting the loop, trigger hot cue 2
- Then it jumps to hotcue 2 and continue playing without the loop, which can no longer be seen

Is that not what you see?

That's what I said, you exceed the loop out point so the loop dies, if you did it the other way [loop in the middle of the track and jump to earlier] the loop remains and waits for you to run in to it.

VERY THANKS!!!
