Topic: Broadcast online radio on mac osx

Hi guys, trying to setup to broadcast on online radio using mac osx and struggling MASSIVELY! Do I need a shoutcast account and how do I use the server when I'm mac based and shoutcast is windows/linux only?

If you are trying to broadcast to a radio server, you need to either have one, or apply/join one of the many thousands webradios.
Some are run by DJ communities as radios (for example www.virtualdjradio.com) and others are service / server providers that let you start your own radio

etc etc.. 100s of those. Some completely free, other with a bit of fee for extra listeners, quality etc

You could also setup your own shoutcast server, not sure if they also have for MacOS ..

Or you could stream to Social Media (youtube, twitch, facebook) .... VirtualDJ also has support for that, no server needed.
