Is there a way to mix live and have the current song being played out loud while listening to the song up next in headphones (not aloud) to get it cued up and ready before bringing it into the mix?

Yes it's called cueing, with a home licence and only on board sound you will need a stereo to 2 mono cable, something like this

It is not a splitter [a cable that splits a stereo source to 2 stereo sources] it's stereo split into 2 mono
