I have the BPM/Beat feature working with Virtual DJ on my main DJ laptop, so the lights chases stay in sync with the song I am playing. How do I get the beat to sync up between Virtual DJ and ShowXpress if I use 2 different laptops? One laptop running Virtual DJ, and the other running ShowXpress?

Only way i managed to get this to work was by using the booth audio output of my mixer (or controller) and feed that into the mic input of the second laptop.
You just need to ensure you keep the level down on the booth output.

You may also take a look at experimental VDJartnet plugins -pluginS because yes there are many sources- to sync PCs over network
as it seems ShowXpress accepts Art-Net protocol

VBAN protocol is fine to hear some stream or for broadcasting but will introduce too much latency so that lightning Beat will mainly match one of the next play one
