Topic: how to connect my cmd studio 4a to my computer?

hello! i bought the controller “cmd studio 4a” but when i tried to set up the controlleron my computer with the software (virtual dj)it didnt work , help please ?

hey! i think i installed the driver and i have licence.
but i thing the software dont identify the controller because it show me a window that write:
VIRTUALDJ - no sound card
CMD studio 4a
Soundcard not availavle
CMD studio ASIO driver
 
Do you see the unit in the Windows Device Manager , without any yellow triangles ?
Also what licence do you have? as it's unusual that you haven't logged in with that account

about the licence i connect on the software to my mail and the software start to work so i think it ok... not?
 
It's not vdj at fault then, ensure you've installed the driver, try a different usb port, try a different usb cable.

Also it is better if you log in to this forum with your account that has a licence, because
1 average users can see if you are a controller licence or a pro licence and this can help them to help you.
2 the developers can look up your user name and can see information of how you're using vdj again this helps them help you.

Just logging in to VDJ doesn't give you a license. You need to purchase a license whilst you're logged in here, then it will be registered to your forum name and password.

Once you've bought a license, you can then log in to VDJ with your forum details.

You cannot use VDJ with a controller unless you have a license.
