Here's hoping they made the machine tooling out of diamond. I hope the build quality matches the build of old, I've a 1979 1200mk2 and... yeah some caps could do with being replaced (it is 39 years old, older than me, and in better shape) for PA it's still solid (heirloom class TT)

I know to make rugged gear you have to skimp on features (points of failure) but a single stop/start, (presumably) brake/start speed under the platter, no usb soundcard, no phono to line RIAA filter. It's not the as ground breaking as the original 1200 delivered.

I'll be getting a pair but the day the warranty expires I'll be re-engineering.
